What Is Manual Osteopathy?
Manual osteopathy is a form of manual therapy grounded in the principle that the body functions as a unified system. When one structure is restricted — a joint, a fascial layer, an organ — the effects ripple outward. Pain in your lower back may be connected to tension in your hip flexors. Chronic headaches may trace back to restrictions in your neck and upper thoracic spine. Digestive discomfort may have a musculoskeletal component.
A manual osteopath uses their hands to assess and treat these interconnected systems — restoring movement, releasing restrictions, and supporting the body’s own capacity to heal.

How much does a session cost at the wellness retreat?
It’s included with your admission to the Reset & Radiate Wellness Retreat. We will be offering osteopathic technique sessions aimed at postural reset and relaxation during the vendor market.
Is Manual Osteopathy Safe?
Manual osteopathy is a safe therapy when practiced by a qualified practitioner. Jeffrey Beech holds a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice (DOMP) and is a Registered Kinesiologist (R.Kin).
Manual osteopathy should not be painful. Some techniques involve firm but gentle pressure that may feel slightly uncomfortable in an area of restriction — similar to the feeling of a targeted massage.
How is osteopathy different from massage therapy?
Massage therapy focuses primarily on soft tissue — muscles and connective tissue — using pressure and manipulation to reduce tension and improve circulation. Manual osteopathy takes a broader systemic view, assessing and treating the musculoskeletal, fascial, visceral, and cranial systems together. The goal is structural balance and restored function, not just relaxation.
How long is the wellness retreat session?
These brief sessions are 7-10 minutes long, allowing enough time for postural reset and relaxation.
To ensure a smooth process, advanced registration is available starting August 29th. If you are not present at the start of your booked block time, your spot will be forfeited to the next person, regardless of advanced booking status.
