Professional care you can trust.

With advanced knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise-based rehabilitation, we are dedicated to helping you recover from injury, prevent future issues, and reach your optimal state of well-being.

Our approach to manual osteopathy goes beyond treating symptoms—by assessing how the body functions as a whole, we address the root cause to support lasting recovery.

History of osteopathy

Manual Osteopathy

Manual osteopathy is a hands-on, drug-free approach to healthcare that focuses on assessing, treating, and preventing dysfunction in the body’s musculoskeletal, visceral, and cranial systems.

It emphasizes restoring balance, mobility, and proper function through gentle techniques such as osteoarticular adjustments, myofascial release, visceral manipulation, and cranial osteopathy.

Osteopathy was founded in 1874 by Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, an American physician who sought a more holistic, patient-centered alternative to conventional medicine. He established the first osteopathic school in 1892 in Kirksville, Missouri.

While osteopathy evolved into a more conventional medical practice in the U.S. (D.O. doctors), manual osteopathy  has remained a distinct, non-medical practice in many countries, particularly in Canada and Europe.

It has since grown as a respected complementary therapy for musculoskeletal pain, posture issues, and even systemic conditions affecting circulation and organ function.
